The Maximum metered fares to be charged by any taxi service operator or driver shall be as follows:
- First Flag (initial fare)- $2.50
- Each Mile- $1.75
- Per Extra Passenger Charge- $1.00
- Waiting time (per hour)- $25.00
- Fuel Surcharges may be added per trip based on current average price per gallon

Program Associated Rates
The Rates below apply to passengers who are pre-qualified for any program associated transportation services.
Effective January 1, 2013, the copay for all program transportation services during regular City of Tyler Transit operating hours and within the Tyler city limits will remain $1.50 per person, per trip. The copay for all other program associated transportation services will be $2.00 per person, per trip.
NDMJ will also offer a new PREMIUM SAME DAY SERVICE during regular City of Tyler Transit operating hours for program-qualified passengers at a rate of $5.00 per person, per trip.
City of Tyler Transit Regular Hours of Operation are:
6 a.m. to 8:15 p.m. Weekdays
9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday
(Excluding Holidays)
* Personal Care Assistants and service animals may accompany passengers at no additional charge.

1st Weekend - West: Garden Valley, Mount Sylvan, Noonday
2nd Weekend - East: Arp, Chapel Hill, James Town, Lanes Chapel, New Chapel Hill, Overton
3rd Weekend - South: Bullard (Smith County section), Flint, Gresham, Troup, Whitehouse
4th Weekend - North: Hideaway, Lindale, Starrville, Swan, Winona
5th Weekend - Undesignated
